Fresh Black Truffle — Tuber Melanosporum

The Périgord black truffle. Tuber melanosporum is harvested from December through March — its dark, marbled flesh carries an intense, complex aroma of earth, cocoa, and forest undergrowth. One of the most recognized luxury ingredients in European gastronomy.

Why Tuber Melanosporum

Usage

Can be used raw or gently heated. When cooking, add near the end of preparation. Clean with a soft brush under cold water just before use. Store wrapped in paper, refrigerated, and use within 7–10 days of receipt.
